Iepekrätzer Gemeint ist eine absolut unverträgliche Person, die erst so richtig in Schwung kommt, wenn sie einen heftigen Streit vom Zaun gebrochen hat.
Iesbär Als Eisbär bezeichnet man einen mürrischen, brummigen Menschen.
Iggel Bezeichnet einen launischen und ungemütlichen Menschen, der ständig Unruhe verbreitet und voller Hast und Eile ist.
Imi Kurz für "imitierte Kölsche". Nach dem 2. Weltkrieg wurde die sich in Köln ansiedelnden Ostvertriebenen so bezeichnet. Heute sagt man auch zu Kölnern "Imi", wenn sie die kölnische Mundart nicht beherrschen oder sich absolut "unkölsch" benehmen.
Irmche Eigentlich: "Klein-Irmgard". Man sagt dies mitleidig zu einer armseligen, etwas naiven, aber gutmütigen Frau. Verächtlicher gemeint ist "Irmche" im Zusammenhang mit "jeck" und bezeichnet eine aufgedrehte und verrückte Frauenperson.
